Ran My buddies z28 today from a stop.. since its an auto i got him from the start and was a car length up to 100 then we stopped... we went on the highway and the cars cant pull on one another... but when i redline 4th at 140 and hit 5th he pulls...
Earlier that day on the way home from the mall.. i ran into a red SRT4 with a kid my age (19) drivin it and me and him were weavin through traffic.. when we hit a break on the highway i pulled on him up to 5th gear... i stopped to talk to him at the gas station he said " You have the Muscle on me on the highway " and he said he couldnt catch me

nice runs. congrats on both of 'em. and like ^^ said. the Camaro must have been an LT1, and the SRT-4........he must not have been able to drive. not knocking on your car.....but, SRT's from a roll are DEADLY. even stock. if he had even just a stage 1/2, theyre even worse........Stage 3........im not even gonna start. congrats again on the wins

Definitly had to be an lt1. Im gonna disagree with the srt4 comments. I worked at ford and dodge and from a roll the srt and stang are TOO close to just call it. A GT is very capable of taking an srt4 from a roll.

i ran one on the highway without the n20 and pulled him hard then all of a sudden he flew by should of used mine if i knew he was gonna eventually spray on me.
i raced a few at the track. one ran a 14.6 and trapped at like 97. some other ran low 13's but yeah they are pretty nice cars. theres one in my town that has 477 whp. not too shabby huh but i still wanna race him just haven't caught each other yet
Yea me and the srt 4 didnt reall line up but we were kind of playin chase and he said he couldnt catch me... as the foir z28 its a 1996 LT1... i could never hang with an ls1... but i will after the vortechs installed soon haha
I raced an SRT-4 with my 05 GT. Car dynoed 280rwhp with CAI/tune. We both punched it on a roll. Didnt bother going to first gear thinking its only a 4. Big mistake. The SRT-4 kept up all thru 2nd gear. I didnt pull away till I got into 3rd. Got about 2 cars on him before slowing down for the next light. Not sure of his mods. Muffler looked stock..but he had a blowoff valve you can hear. Those things have no fear of Mustangs. I've had 2-3 pull up looking for a race. All were put in their place

There is no reason that a stock 99+ 5spd cannot run door to door with a stock 03 or 04 SRT-4. I have seen mulitple vids of srt-4 going down to all stock or dammed near stock 99+ 5spd.

by the time you notice there racing you, they have already spooled up and will pull quickly. But if you go on 3 honks you'll have a fair chance.

I`m a SRT-4 owner and I can tell you that most of us respect those cars which earned respect (modded stangs). And we appreciate your comments on our car. I hate to see when a thred like this get`s carried away with noob young srt owners. They buy an intake and Ice headlight bulbs and think they can beat anything. I say lets save are power for the import guys.....

im not saying they cant, but, SRT-4's are known for their roll on pulls. theyre sick. especially if the person can actually drive it(just like any other car), and even worse if they have mods done to 'em. thats all.
