I give respect to SRT owners, i actually looked at one before i bought the stang test drove it and everything, those little 4's are quick, but all the other 4 cylinder hondas with little punks drivin them is what i dont like.

Yeah cause my friends s/c'ed GT with supporting mods exhaust etc... puts down 405 to the wheels. I know LS1's with equal weight and those mods are in the neighborhood of 400rwhp's

I know how LS1's are; 3 weeks ago I almost sold mine for a t/a, however thats a pretty ridiculous statement.

that's less likely than bigfoot showing up in my living room for mnf next week. in fact, it's IMPOSSIBLE! just the fact that the car is named after a color or an element is weeeeeak. weak weak weak! Have you guys seen the commercial for the staple gun with the "world's weakest man" contest? that's how weak a neon is.

weak dude.

they could have used any car to make an SRT4. they chose a neon though. A NEON! i don't care if i do get beat by one. a neon is a neon. in the end, i look good in my mustang, they're still driving a NEON.

All i know is i have posted two seperate videos of me vs a supercharged GT SIX SPEED when i was bolt ons. First time i assbanged him terribly, and the second time we got together, i nosed him out by about a car. He had/has a vortech. Thats my real world first hand experience. When i run into one that beats me, then ill shut up. Although it will be significantly more difficult for them now.....

Well maybe he sucks as a driver... I just know that the ls1 i've driven with lid, exhuast(not lt's)... wasnt in the neighborhood of where my friends car is... not even close. It was a vert also... so i know its heavier and you theres a few more mods you want me to compare to... but its really not even in the ballpark.

My friend ran his car once... (racing me) on bald street tires and like a 2.4 60' missing 3rd gear completely grinding then bouncing out then putting it back in.... and hitting the brakes 20 yards early... he mustered a 13.5 @101. His car is capable of 11's. If you'd really like to see the vid ill post it... quite humorous actually.

SRT-4's do not have mufflers.

is it even possible for a production model car to not have mufflers?!?

UMMMM no. It has to have some kind of exhaust muffler of some kind. Great idea though. 4 cly with no mufflers= Make me want to commit suicide.

P.S. Props to the SRT-4 They are fast, and a great platform for performance. Whoever owns one made a smart choice in my book.

it is possible, cuz they don't. they have cats of course. turbos act like a muffler.

They dont have mufflers, they have a turbo & cat to absorb sound. they do have 2 resanators to change the pitch of the sound but no mufflers. And to the guy talking about he doesn't care if he loses a race to a neon saying he'll still look good in his mustang.....sorry but you'll just look like a loser who happens to drive a mustang.
