very true. and i didnt hear an s/c on hardly any of 'em either. my friend has a black '03 cobra, stock.....and you CAN hear the whine of the Eaton. its not as quiet as someone said they are. the best vid on that is the one between the Cobra and the Z06. that was a GOOD race. i still like the vid of the TT Cobra vs the TT Supra.....the rest of the vid is crazy......im gonna go find it and watch it. i like that video

That video really ticked me off. What a bunch of crap. I look at it this way. We all run mustangs, from 6s to Machs and lets face it they are the cats ass. They have alot of history and class something no rice car can even talk about. So we are in their sights strictly over jealously. Your not gonna pick on a no name car and make videos about it. You are going after the dominant car. It looks to me like they are picking out some kids to run and their cars arent totally stock but not beefed up to run with the thousands $ the ricer has under his hood. Id like to see them pull up along side of some rockets you men have built up in here. Like you guys always say there is no replacement for displacement! We just have to take it for what it is...BS

I dont think I saw ONE real 03/04 cobra in that vid. The one with the no2 was an 01 cobra, I have the full vid where the intake and all is blown off the motor. That vid was made by retarded, uninformed, jealous asshats that are completely stupid. Like the red one at the end throwing a rod.......a forged rod?? I think not.
Yeah I've got the full vid of the Red 01-02 Cobra blowing the rod. Yeah it was an NA but he added the blower, and they obviously think an 00 Gt is a Cobra b/c the "Cobra in 5 yrs" thing was definately a gt. And as yall stated before the nitrous one is not 03-04. So if they had named the vid cobra video it would have been okay, but the dumasses decided to be kool and throw in that "SUPERCHARGER" thing.
Once agian the ricers and wanna be mustang owners have attacked us once agian. This is were we talk about jealously and how they are pissed they dont have one. What a fixed and coaxhed video that was. They werent 03/04 cobra's b/c i sure as hell didnt hear a supercharger. Well most of that video is crap I dident even hear a whine on most of those cars except mybe one! For that matter they where 01 and 99's the one wit NOS was 01 big time! And I dont think I heard one whine except for the cobra and corvette and that was because the friggen vetter was S/C bunch of losers LOL. Cobras RULE!!!!

Useing a 97 LT-1 Camaro as a reference here because you so happen to have an Lt-1 under the hood of youre 65' and for all the modification it took to wire and mount it up youre best is only a 13.9@97. Now, stock versus stock, how is a cobra of 00'-back slow? Here's some numbers:
Slow??? Mabey thats why the infemous LS-1 couldnt even save the F-body. 305 Hp is damn good, more Hp than the LT-1 and with less cubes. Slow? pre 03' cobras are anything but. Why dont you keep youre sorry excuse for a 1/4 mile time to youreself next time, over here we like fords, just a little FYI.

wow tough guy, well ss "Super Sport" is compared to the gt. whats the numbers on a 97 gt. Also cobras are aimed at vettes, I would think. low numbers produced, high price and those 305 hourse 4.6 were way the hell over rated I dont think one actually had the true hp and everybody knows that. plus we have a local ford fool with a 97 cobra and that thing is a real disgrase, corrected like my truck (bandimere) hes running 14.6's he cant even get low 15's up here. And dont get me wrong he drive as you could expect out of a ford fanatic and its a low mile sharp car. and yes I spent $1500 for a abandoned car and did everything in college for not even another$1000 and I would run witht he best of some of you. STOCK

no, the Cobra R's were aimed at the Vette. dude, 13.9 is still a sorry time for an Lt-1, and 305hp is fact, mabey you should look it up on every single mustang related site on the web, and in about a month when youre done re-confirming what i said, let me know. and dude, my 90' with a powertrax, 65mm throttle body, stock ported heads(by my hand mind you) and i've run a 13.7. It comes down to driver ability, i've seen guys with saleen S351's run 16's cause they cant drive worth ****. Tough guy...no....ford guy...yes... Why are you here again?

Both cars that blew up were 99 or 01.
Proof: Red car had old school radio, console, and taillights. DSG car should be obvious, just look at it.
The 03 or 04 cobras can handle over 600rwhp, it's been done time and time again.
This vid, is expected and acceptable attempt to put down a cobra (there are alot of bitter people who keep losing to them). But it's not exactly like the winning cars were stock. There are plenty of modified cars out there which can beat a stock 03-04 cobra.
The part in the beginning about the kid saying turn the camera off could have been for any number of reasons. The main one was that the guy talking was a d***.
This kinda flaming is expected though because of the growing number of Cobra owners who are starting crap. Truth is, there is nothing useful to learn about the other cars in this vid since these were all "from a roll" races against questionable 03s and any of them could have had any number of mods.
Those dorks need to try harder next time.

Actually, the first guy used to be on this board. He was JDaniels buttbuddy. I can assure you that he has a Kenne Bell Cobra. Not only is he the biggest asshat around, he's known all around Texas to be the worlds biggest asshat. He's a safe racer, meaning he won't take a race unless he's POSITIVE he'll win, and then if he loses, he always wants to fight. I didn't even watch the whole thing, but I remember the conversation about the guy in the Camaro wanting to race.
He knew he couldn't touch that Camaro, there was another video of them where he wanted to race, and the guy with the Cobra put him in the headlock and started throwing him into the Camaro. He's just an ass. Gives Mustang owners a bad name.

They'd give me a reason to put petal to floor in my Cobra, win or lose. I didn't really like the video, but its not like a Ford guy hasn't tried it. Or a Dodge. Honda guy. Nissan guy. BMW guy. Basically, these vids happen. People with a brain won't worry about it, and accept it for what it is: a difference in opinion and preference.
