Replacing cats... ???
 

Ok, I thought I understood this, but now I find myself dazed and confused... once again.</P>


Here's what I am now pondering since seeing the SLP X-pipe. Is there a way that the stock cats can be removed? If so, I could replace the 'race pipes' on the SLP X pipe and slip in the cats...easier than storing the entireH pipe assembly. Keep in my parents probably wouldn't be too happy with both storing my exhaust AND having their son running an illegal car.</P>


Storing some cats in my garage would be a lot easier, but not enough to justify new cats.</P>

The slp catted x pipe is made so you put the cats on, get it inspected adn take the cats off, they are held on with clamps like mufflers</P>

i got a 99 mustang and i was gonna cut otu teh cats but there are 02 sensors for the engine before AND after the cat, so cutting them out sill send messed up readings to the engine and possibly causing problems in the long run, i dotn no what year your car is but thats how it is on my 99 </P>
