I don't think they have released any of that information yet. You might check with a dealer to see if they have any advanced pricing information.
I think you will find that the Stage 2 Roush will be priced about the same as a Saleen S281 and the Stage 3 Roush will be about the same price as a S281SC.
When I bought my roush sport the dealer was telling us about a guy who had just put his order in on the stage 3. He said the car came out to be about 52K. That's about the price I'm hearing. But he also had some other stuff added to it on top of the normal stage 3 stuff.

From what I have heard about the Roush Stage 3 an MSRP around 50 to 55 and comparable to the Saleen S281SC. Rated horsepower around 375 to 425. This however maybe an under rated number since most automakers are fudging it a bit. The Saleen SC rated at 400 acutally makes closer to 450 at the flywheel and 400 to the rear wheels. I would imagine the Roush will be along those guidelines, and have as many bells and whistles as the Saleen SC. It really depends on the look you want Saleen or Roush, underneath I would imagine they are much the same, and performance wise Equal. The one thing I will urge you to do, is do your research at the dealerships they have brochures and order guides directly from Roush and Saleen so you can determine exactly what you are getting for your money. I think most people would be surprised, maybe not in this forum, about the number of modications besides just the body kits that these cars have. Essentially a Roush and a Saleen are completely redesigned mustangs.

That might be true if Roush goes with a twin screw blower, but the word is they are using a roots blower. If this is the case, the Saleen blower technology will really overshadow Roush's. The powerband in a stage III Roush vs a S281sc will be night and day. It is actually too bad if Roush goes with old roots technology unit. Word is Roush is trying to save $, and that's why they are running with a roots blower. I was out at Dale Jarrett Ford in NC a few days ago, and they had several new Roushs. Gosh, they need to bring back the one thing that helped to set their cars' apart; the side exit exhaust. Word is that Roush didn't want to spent the $ to instigate and prototype a side exit exhaust. Once more aftermarket companies pioneer a side exit exhaust, I'm sure Roush will go back to it; they just want someone else to do their homework for them.

425 HP won't do them any good. The 2006 Saleen SCs are going to be rated at 435 HP. No changes, just a more accurate rating.
I was at my dealer today (he's also a Roush dealer) and got the most current information. Roush is making 4 different models. There were no Stage 1 cars in 05. They were all "Sport" models which is their entry level vehicle. For 2006, there will be the Sport, Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3.
I won't go into detail on what's standard on the Sport, but the Stage 1 adds 18" Roush Chrome Wheels & High Performance Tires and Roush Decklid Emblem. The Stage 2 in addition to this, adds the Roush Front Chin Spoiler and the Roush Suspension System. I have no information on exactly what the Stage 3 package adds other than the supercharger.
Then there are Roush optional equipment available on all levels. These would include: White Face Gauges, Interior Trim, Sport Leather Interior, Rear Quarter Window Louvers, Billet Pedals, and Racing Stripes.
When all is said and done, the highly optioned Roush cars cost more than the Saleens do (unless you count optional paint colors).
I would have to say for a full blown S3 you would be looking at around $50k. That's what the last generation was running around.

What's up Birdie, long time no talk!
Roush does use a Roots style blower, but it isn't A-Typical. It is an Eaton MP90 which is an improvement over the standard Roots configuration and Roush specifically engineers the blowers further between them and Eaton for further improvement. They also go w/ Roots/Eaton, because they produce the most low end grunt as opposed to others. I think all of the cars are a toss up. I actually have a GT500 on deposit, but can't really say it is better than the S3, Saleen or Steeda. Will it be worth more and hotter to have because of the name, probably, but they are all closely matched performance wise.
