Default Avoiding sounding ricey...

When I get my true duals with 40 series flows I want absolutley no hint of rice sound at all, I want it to sound like nothing but muscle car rumble. Has anyone ever experienced that rice sound from adding true duals with 40 series flows? Thanks.

Also, I drive a 99' stock 5spd stang.

03yellowpony which clip? Because remember I told u it would come up on music match box and not work...well from there I was able to open it from windows media player and hear it but there was more then one, there was like 5 sound clips. But none of them are when your idealing or start up....at least I dont think??

You won't get a ricey sound at all. At really high rpm's it will get high pitched, but not really ricey still.

if you have a v6...you will NEVER get the muscle rumble out of it....you can get a nice idle and up to about 3000rpms it will sound NICE.....but after that, no matter what you do...it will get "ricier" Personall i have a 95 rebuilt engine, cam, heads, supercharger, headers, full exhaust and at about 3500rpms gets raspy/ricey.

wait was was the question here? catless sounds higher pitched at 3500 rpms?

because mine sounds awesome but i kept my cats on

A: he will never get the v8 rumble, impossible. I probably have the most modded v6 on this forum and it DOES sound like a v8, and many many people have told me...but at high rpms you can just tell its a v6. But I did HEAVY HEAVY mods....basic boltons will never give you a v8 rumble.

6er will always have hints of "rice" it has to do with the harmonics and overtones and a bunch of other physics stuff. The only way to remove the sound is to add two cylinders.
Embrace the sound of a V6. Love the sound. It's what let's everyone know what's coming

Iam getting a super 40 flowmater dual, it will sound good, u can hear the clip on flowmaster.
