i am looking at doing a full headers to catback job for my 03 cobra, and was wondering if this system i picked out would sound bad. I have heard that some combos sound really bad, like rocks in the tailpipe or some other bs.
i was thinking of geting
MAC 2.5" Off-Road H-Pipe MAC 3" Cat-Back Exhaust MAC 1-5/8" Long Tube Headers
Will this sound good, and what sort of gains should i expect from it? My only other mods are a cold air induction and 5.0 shifter. Also i was wondering why the MAC headers and h-pipe are so much cheaper then say the bassani or SLP systems. Is it because the MAC parts are just plain jain and black, but the others are all fancy and show quality?
ive got the l/ts,o/r prochamber and the mac catback and i wouldnt trade it for the world..its really deep and throaty..and as far as performance goes..it will feel like you just pullied it
i dont know but my friend has an 04' cobra and he has a full basani exhaust headers x-pipe with cats and a 3 inch cat back. i doesnt sound loud at idle but when ur at wot it sounds loud idk its your choice but i would go basani all the way
