If they're using the 4.6 supercharged engine in the new 2004 GT's, then what kind of engine will they use in the 2005 Cobra's? SVT is not going to put a pushrod engine in the Cobra, and I dont think that ford uses an OVC engine with a larger displacement than the 4.6. It also seems unlikely that SVT will just up the psi on the supercharger. Any whispers from Dearborne?

The GT will NOT have the blown 4.6L. Motor Trend is guessing the GTs will have about 300hp and l heard the Cobras won't come out until '06. When it comes out, it'll have the blown 4.6L that makes 600hp.

holy sh*t they were going bring back the boss.I bet anything the reason why they shot down was emissions. They propably wanted the boss to be too powerful and with gas emissions they couldn't do it.

Insurance on those bad boys will be more than the cost of the car after a few years I bet.

That may be, but look at it as incentive. You are gonna need a good job to pay for it.

Yeah, and if you bet some cash on races, it may just pay some of it itself eh?  But it would take a fool to knowingly go against that.

well, if you look around, there are some idiots that think their GM J-bodies will beat our GT's. Think they will bite?

The engines in the J-bodies have the potential for 800hp.
