2005 Cobra? - 6/2/2003 9:31:12 PM    99c0br@   Posts: 4 Joined: 6/2/2003 From: United States Status: offline If they're using the 4.6 supercharged engine in the new 2004 GT's, then what kind of engine will they use in the 2005 Cobra's? SVT is not going to put a pushrod engine in the Cobra, and I dont think that ford uses an OVC engine with a larger displacement than the 4.6. It also seems unlikely that SVT will just up the psi on the supercharger. Any whispers from Dearborne? Post #: 1

Motor Trend is guessing the GTs will have about 300hp and l heard the Cobras won't come out until '06. When it comes out, it'll have the blown 4.6L that makes 600hp. (in reply to 99c0br@) Post #: 2
