My 06 GT likes and dislikes

Here it is:

06 GT

Likes:

Awesome power, much better than my 2000 GT.
Love the way that the windows go down an inch when openening and closing the doors. Releives the pressure in the car so the down does not have to be slammed shut.
The sound is good considering the stock exhaust.
The interior is much nicer than previous models. Shaker 1000 is awesome.
Headlights and foglamps are much nicer than previous models.

Dislikes:

The gearbox makes a ton of noise in the cabin. Anybody else see this?
The shifter is way sloppy. (every mustnag I have owned has the same problem. Can anybody reccomend a shifter?
The rear bumper cover is very loose.
Throttle by wire sucks.... period. Can't even match rpm's when down shifting...

get a tune and eliminiate alot of the fly by wire slowness, it will help tremendously

[:-])6 Gt coupe.... I agree, gearbox is very noisy and drive train has too much slack/play.

Fella's,

Take it from an old Mustang'er like me (69 428 SCJ Mach 1, 70 Boss 302, 71 Boss 351, 73 Mach 1, 77 Mustang II V8). These new cars are quiet as Lincolns compared to the old shakin', rattlin' fuel guzzlin' Mustangs of my past. To me, whining gear boxes and hissing noises are as retro as the car's looks and I didn't have a Shaker 500 to drown it out.

You have never heard "Noise" untill you have driven a car with a Muncie QC Rear and a Muncie Track Box!... you can hear the wine from those things sitting in the stands!
