I am the one who nominated you and 9 others. You guys have some nice rides. I'm jealous. :D Just remember this is the Classic section and not the ROM contest. If you win the classic section, I will nominate you to represent the classic section in the ROM contest. This is basically an elimination process, but anybody can run for the ROM if you get someone to nominate you.

Sorry about the delay on the pictures... I was trying to figure out how to do a direct link and dynamic resize of the images in the forums database.

OMG This is a tough decision!

Help me out guys... take some pictures of those engine compartments and interiors so I can make up my mind!

Remember - the winner gets nominated for ROTM for the site. And they pretty much REQUIRE a engine compartment shot to win.

-If you don't want to wait for Amanda to upload them for you, send a copy to me and I'll have it linked up to this thread ASAP.

Thanks!

C!

You guys listen to Clutch. He just won the ROM contest with super shots of his incredible Mustang. After you get those incredible shots of your car, then also make an album in the ROM section. Good luck to all of you.

Like Cluch said, those engine compartment pics are the determining factor when it comes down to the nitty gritty in voting. So, clean up those engine compartments, and post some incredible pics of not only the body and interior, but the engine bay as well.
On edit: Damn, Dodgestang, that is exactly what I was talking about . :D You other guys get up to speed. Obviously Dodgestang has a restomod, but I would vote for a restored original as well. Dang, you guys have a bunch of good looking cars.

Hey Soaring,

Can you change the heading for Kathymach1 in her gallery?

It lists her car as a 1970 & not a 1973.

While I caught the difference since I have a 73, it may not be quite so obvious to others.

Another month of hard choices for CROTM!

No, I don't have the tools for that. Only Amanda does. Do you want me to contact her? Or, could you do that. Maybe try pming the owner and let her contact Amanda.
On Edit: Never mind.....I contacted Amanda. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hiker... your shots are EXCELLENT! You've got a good eye for car pictures :D

Dodgestang... a little overexposed... I ran them thru some filters to better show your color:

I'll add an interior and engine picture to the front page of this post to anyone else that provides me one. :D

And they should be in the runniing for the ROTM contest. If there are any classics that aren't represented in the ROTM contest, then you need to take the time to nominate them. Get with the program you lazy butts. :D

lClutchl
10-13-2005, 09:17 AM
We need to concentrate on getting our people to make GALLERIES. 2 of the 4 nominated this month could have been denied because they did not have a gallery set up before accepting their nominations.

BTW: Thanks ValleyFirearms!

All of you have beautiful classics. I don't personally like restomods, but the ones shown have put a lot of money and elbow grease into making their rides absolutely beautiful. If I were the king, I would have a separate section for the restomods and the originals. Oh, wait.......I am the king. Let's do that next month. What say ye?

Hail to King Soaring!!!

I think our great king has a great idea for all his loyal subjects through out the land!

This should truly make all the peasants rejoyce!

Seriously, Great idea!

Soaring
10-19-2005, 04:52 PM
Yeah, it might be a good idea, but it won't work. We on the classic section need to get our act together, and nominate one classic car to be in the running for the ROTM contest. Yes, we can separate the originals from the restomods on the classic section (I think) but the overall winner needs to be just one classic to represent us.

Soaring
10-23-2005, 05:36 PM
I let my mouth overload my brain. I don't kow how to do that. I am such a DA. We have some great rides that are represented in this section, and in the ROTM section.
