Can I pressure wash or just water hose pressure my enging, its really nasty, the people that had it before me lived on a gravel road and its never been cleaned, i didn't know if there was a way i could clean it up?

Get a engine degreaser and a hose. Spray it down with water, spay the degreaser on, let it soak in, spray off with water. It's that simple. you might want to get a tooth brush and get into the hard to reach places if you really want it to look good.

just use some hose water and not go hardcore on it. DO NOT pressure wash it. its in your manual on how to keep your engine clean.

also did you know you lose power with the engine dirty? i just read it in either MM&FF or 5.0 Mustangs and FF. i guess the little particles get into places or keep it warmer or something like that. just thought i'd share

That would be something to look into. I never would of thought that it would take some of the horsepower.
