Just bought a used 2005 GT on 10/14/06 with 1750 miles on it (5-speed manual of course). She's still a virgin, no mods! I've got big plans for her though. Going to start with suspension first...the car rides too nice, like a sedan! I have to say that it is such a joy to drive, considering I've been driving a 4-cyl. 5-speed S-10 pickup for the last 7 years. I was so used to smashing the gas pedal down to the floor just to get it to go!
Before that I had an '89 5.0 LX 5-speed. The performance bug hit me back then and I did the typical mods - full exhaust, gears, shifter, suspension, air intake, throttle body, etc. I regretted selling it for that damn S-10, but guess I got over it. Now I wish I still had that car because I like the Fox bodies.
Good job on this forum! Found lots of good information that's helped me put together a list of mods. I think I'm going to start a photo journal with before-and-after notes about the mods I do. The performance bug has hit me again :-)
Hi everyone. Just picked up my first Mustang ever. It's a 2004 GT and I'M HOOKED. What fun. And it's only been one day. Can't wait for the sun to come up in the morning and start in all over again. Nice site guys.
GOOD TO BE HERE MY NEW RIDE FRESH OF THE TRUCK 3 WEEKS AGO

My name is Jonas and I live in Sweden. I´ve got a mustang 1967. It's just a regular coupe, but I've invested something like 10000 hours in restoring it so it looks real nice now. Candyapple red, black interior... Tremec 5-speed and a lincoln 9" with 4.30:1 and disc brakes. I decided to stick with the 289" but it's heavily modded. It's surprisingly fast, actually. No pictures at this time. I'm really excited about this forum by the way! /Jonas
Hi Jonas, my name is Terry and I live in Florida. I bought my '01 two years ago and I like the older models, too. Post the pic of the car when you get a chance, sounds like you put alot of time into it!
