I'm an old man with a new 07 GT. My last mustang was a 67 coupe 289 HP. I'm really lost with the new motors. Anyone can give me information on axel ratios on the new stangs. I have an auto trans with 275/60 17's on the rear and need to change my speedometer settings.
Hello; I'm new to this forum and i don't have a mustang at the present but hopefully in the near future i'll be able to buy one, I've been wanting a mustanf for a very long time.
thanx for the welcome. My name is Roger and I live in Monterrey Mexico, about 120 miles south McAllen Tx, I own a 94 GT. I think this is a great site. In Mexico we also have a mustang forum, check it out www.amcm.mustangclub.com.mx .

Hey everybody I'm new to forums and threads so I'm learning here. When I was 10 yrs old my dad gave me a 66 289 auto coupe with great paint but in need of work. After many years overseas for the military and being unable to have my car with me I finally returned to USA to enjoy my stang. Recently we've done: Engine/tranny rebuild, new everything on the body such as emblems, lettering, gas cap, bumbers, etc..., new bf/goodrich tires, torque thrust wheels, and mostly new interior along with aftermarket Vintage air a/c for this horrindous humidity here in Biloxi. Hope to learn more about my mustanf as well as others while I'm here.
Glad a site like this is around. I recently purchased an 06 Roush Stage 1 vert tungsten grey w/stripes. I have a 92 vert 5.0. Looking for ideas for "fixin' up" the old stang.
hello all, just registered today. been looking here for awhile but was just to lazy i guess to fill out the form. anyhow, i like what all i seen here so far, seems like a decent bunch of people.

Hey, nice site. New to the forum thing, so excuse me. I have an 86 with a 1972 351w and a t5. I love the foxes and built mine ALL myself, no bolt-ons. I enjoy seeing ideas and tech articles on anything and trying to incorperate it into my stang. I would love to find a Capri for my next build, if anyone has a handle on one. I like T-tops and sunroofs, but at the right price i will buy anything. Just ak my wife. She loves that quality in me! You should see my yard. The next engine build will be a 460, so a nice body with no drivetrain is perfect.
Thanks for Welcome.... Waving from Mid. Tenn. I've got a 91GT and a 95 Mustang... The 95 is going to be built for Street/Strip... The 91 is going to be built Custom (A lot of work). Pretty much from the ground up. The 91GT will be getting a 460 inplant.. While the 95 will be getting a 302(347 Stroker) inplant... I'm mainly working on the 95 due to having to have it ready by April.. I'm also working on a 79 ford f250 turning it into a 4x4.. My oldest son(21) has a 68 fairlane... My youngest son(17) is building a 83 Ranger for dragracing... And I just gave a 76 Maverick to my youngest daughter (14) to build for Street/Strip.. I got a lot of eggs in the pan... I just hope I don't crack... I will be posting more pics on my site soon, But I'm only home on Sat. and Sun. ; so please be patient with me... I am not a computer gooroo and html is not my friend yet.. Will be asking for a lot of help.. Thanks again
Hey thanks everyone for the welcome. I have been in to mustangs for many years. I recently ran in to this site and hoping it can give me some good info on building my car. I live in the mile high city in Colorado. Is there any other fellow mustangers here that live in the Denver area?
Just joined, l@@ks like a great group of fellow Stangers Currently I have a 66 Coupe; 289 3sp on the floor....slowly restoring it Also have a Roush Stage 1 GT, Oxford White. This is my daily driver until snow shows up, then it goes into the garage until spring returns. Also have a 76 Datsun 280 Z 2+2 in great condition. Maybe drive this puppy 1 to 2K miles per year. Also stays in garage during the winter.
This is the 2nd Ford I've ever owned. I'm NOT a FORD person, but I guess the NEW SALEEN look got me Hooked. I had a 65 Mustang Convertible (SOLD). I have had over 150-cars in my life time, YES, I'm a Car Nut.
I bought a 2006 Saleen E w/Scenic Roof #128. But I'm having nothing but TROUBLES with it. So, I'm on here reading all the info you guys are having too & learing from it. It's quite interesting. I too, am working with Saleen Corp. >> Carlos Duran, Bill Vaughn & soon Manny Margarita. I hope it all works out, because I Love the look of the SALEEN MUSTANG.
Thanks for the Welcome. You guys are Great & Supportive of each other.

New to the forums here just wanted to say hey. I found this place because i was actually looking for some parts for my new 07 GT/CS, just some stupid mudflaps and not a whole lot of places have updated listing for the C/S "california special" for those who dont know what the letters mean.
Hello all, Rick here...I have been a mustang fan and owner since College. My first Mustang was a silver 1984 LX which I bought as a 4cyl 4spd and converted to a V8 Auto. This was back in 1988 so parts for the swap were not nearly as readily available as they are now. I owned that until 1992. Since that time I have had a 1994 GT which I bought new and owned until this month. I also have a 1985 GT that is a project. I am looking forward to teaching my 8 year old son about cars as we work on it together. My plans for that car are many, I want to incorporate some street rod tricks into it including shaving the door handles and putting in electronic door releases. The car has a fiberglass hood, I am looking for a fiberglass hatch since I had to toss the rusty old one. I have welded in frame rail connectors and stripped off all the paint, gutted the interior. The body is straight and relatively clean. This winter I plan on getting into the mechanicals, pulling the tranny so I can either replace it with a Tremec or rebuilt the T5. I am expecting to build the engine to make about 350hp when all is said and done which will likely outpower the T5. I want this to be an all around performer something that can carve up the twisties and tear up the straights. My ultimate goal would be to run it at the silver state classic.
I also just bought a 2006 silver GT that is my daily driver. It should be a hand full this winter driving it in the NE. I have an extra set of rims for it and I will be buying 4 snows (17") to help with that. If any of you can recommend some snows I would appreciate it.
Hi guys. My name is Jareth de Vandenheuvel, and I find that I enjoy expending my time and excess funds on huge, roaring engines which cleverly hide the fact that my wee-wee is extremely small. Hah, just kidding! I'm much too insecure to reveal such things on an anonymous internet forum. Anywho:
I actually own a 1982 DeLorean DMC-12. With some help from my starving grandmother (I choked her old, dusty ass), I was able to scrounge up the money to fit it with the flux capacitor. Clearly, the stainless steel construction of the automobile is advantageous for the "flux distribution" of a time machine. However, Great Scott! The 1.21 Jiggawatts required for such travel is few and far between. Thanks for the welcome, at any rate. I gotta go; my mother is telling me to stop talking to strangers on the internet, at the risk of being electronically raped. Bye.
