Ok my friend is getting a 1990 Iroc Z 5.7 soon, just wondering if he'd beat me and by how much?
both are autos

I'm not really sure about the ETs for each car, but I believe the 5.7L L98 motor was rated at 225 or 235 hp and 335 ft lbs of torque, or something along those lines. Hope this helps.

I believe those cars are a high 14 or low 15, not sure of the exact time, probably be a good race.

From a light he will most likely leave ya like a bad habit, but keep your foot in it, around 4500 rpms the HP in a TPI motor falls flat on it's face...

I had a worked heads/cam/bored 305TPI and would constantly put 2-3 cars on much quicker cars from a light.

those cars SUCK!, ive never had one come close to beating me, i dont know what they're rated at but i think they're slow

those years are slow i mean slow the 5.7 is pushing like 175hp so it shouldnt even be a race

Most 3rdgens that Fox bodies walk all over are TBI 5.0's in RS's and in some Iroc & Z28's.

All the magazines I've seen, put the Fox 5.0 about .2 infront of a 305TPI Iroc-z with the G-92 rear, now only if they lined it up against the TPI 350....
