04 Cobra vs C5 Corvette
 

Not sure what year...

Raced from a light, wheel hopped all of first and eased in and out of 2nd to hook and still put a good 2 cars on him. I think if I was able to hook up I would have spanked him even worse.

I'm quite surprised how big of a difference the cool weather makes with a blown car, I was under the impression it wasn't quite as significant difference like it is on N/A cars?

Sweet kill ^_^ Yeah, my car pulls noticeably harder during cool weather, but I'm going to have to retune for it here in another couple months. I actually lined up against a C6 and a convertible mustang GT a few nights ago, but none of us raced off the line. I guess we all kind of had a mutual respect for each other's cars hehe.

nice win Dan.........guessing it wasnt a Z06, or was it ?? i bet the wheelhop SUCKS !!! get an 8.8" ;) congrats on the win though. and yeah, cooler weather makes a diff with all cars. just, with it being blown, youre forcing MORE cold(cool) air in than you would if you were n/a. my car runs stronger when its cooler out, id hate to see how much better your car runs when its cool out[8D]

Nope, not a Z06.

There is a Z06 here looking to run but I know it's bottle fed and that pretty much eliminates any chance I had of winning. I'll run him next spring after a pulley swap.

I always new humidity would effect the cars performance, but I've read in many places where people claim blown engines don't suffer from humidity as greatly as N/A cars do, but ever since the humidity has gone this fall my car has felt like it has an extra 50hp, it's ridiculous.

Good kill, Dan.

I took my car to the track last night and was just gonna show it off but I ended up racing and winning first place in the Mustang shootout. I was trapping at 120-121 all night and that was hitting the brakes right at the end when I was ahead, so the cooler weather is paying off. One time I ran a 13.0 and trapped at 99 mph LOL. I wasnt going for the best time... just wanted to win a little money and that I did. :D

Excellent, must be nice that your car is so damn fast you have to hit the brakes to slow down and not break your dial LOL

yeah.. i noticed my car pulls me back in my seat even harder when it's cool and dry out. nice win.

I have to agree, it won't be until the new Shelbys come out that the 03-04 Cobras might be overthrown. But we'll just have to wait and see. Until then keep up the great work.

Good Kill.... I would expect you to beat the C5. The Z06, now that would be a race.
