does anyone know if i can run full lenght headers even if i have aod. what brand and where can i find them

if you must go the route mac,jab are good place I would wrap the headers meaning a a/t car to keep the heat down

Dont wrap the headers just fork out the extra cash on ceramic coted headers or some sort of jet coat.Wraps are ugly and draw moisture and cause them to over time rust and corrode.And this will happen in no time on a daily driven vehicle.

yes they should.Those coatings are designed to hold up against salt,heat,corrosion,moisture so yeah i would think so.Everyone i know that has them including myself still looks like new.

Yea you can!! There arso many compaines out there. Just don't get a set of s**tty chear ones that you'll bereplacing in two years.

I got a set of flowtech long tube 3" headers that just pass by the pan on the AOD. My 5.0 is even in a 68 mustang so i had to go with the ones that were made for the body year rather than the 79-93. I drive the car daily and it's even seen a pennsylvania winter. They've held up awesome for the money, $90. I wouldn't spend a ton of money if you're just looking for performance rather than show. Plenty of options.
