Default Hi, New here, I’d like to ask about 2006 V6 Pricing

Hello to everyone here.

I hope I’m post this in the appropriate place
I’m new here….but I have been a member of a number of different car forums for years.
I’d like to get any info or ask about pricing a new 2006 Coupe V6 Premium.

I’ve never paid MSRP on any new car ( 8 new cars in 5 yrs) most were close to invoice.
Can you tell me about dealer pricing on the 2006 V6 Mustangs.
Can you tell what kind of a price I should be shooting for with this?

My wife is interested in

-2006 V6 Coupe Premium
-Windveil Blue Clearcoat Met.
-5 speed auto
-Pony Package
-Interior Upgrade Package
-Active Anti-Theft
-Front Seat-side mounted air bags
-Dark Charcoal Leather Bucket seat

Thanks a ton for your time………

Hmm, I seriously doubt you'll land anywhere close to invoice on an 06 stang, especially in my area. Dealers have been air tight about their mustangs, as they've been selling so quickly they can afford to pass one buyer for a bigger-wallet-buyer.

Even when I went through a friend, the dealership was charging about $24K for an '05 V6 coupe! They gave me the run around, then when I get there, they sell the car off to someone else! Then they promised to order another in the next 6-8 months, 6 months comes and goes, and they still have my $500 check, and never ordered my 'stang. Moved onto Power Ford in Huntington Beach, CA that just got a 05 V6 Coupe, not even a mile on it, sticker price $22,180- it's my baby now, with almost 2K miles on it =)

I live in McHenry, Illinois - about an hour outside Chicago. I was able to negotiate down to $23,170 ($100 over invoice) on the EXACT same car + I qualified for the $500 college student discount... except mine is a Black Clearcoat.

Alright, I'm a newbie here, and this is my first post :-)

I'm 23 and own the 2006 Mustang GT mentioned below. If you take away all of the aftermarket stuff I've added, the MSRP on the car was EXACTLY $30,000.00 (nice round figure, huh?) and I ended up paying $26,620.00 (Invoice was somewhere around $27,900.00). Car arrived one month after I placed my order too I work in the auto industry, which is why I was able to get such a great deal. While I couldn't help you get the kind of deal I got, I can always tell you how to land right around invoice on almost any car. E-mail me if you have any questions
