Default How low is too low?

I lowered my car over the weekend with Tein H springs with an advertised drop of .09" front and 1.7" in the rear. However, it seems the car was lowered a bit more than that. I now have a bout 4.5" of ground clearance measuring from the bottom of the rocker panel behind the front wheel and before the rear wheel. Just wanted to know what everyone else that lowered their car has for ground clearance. Also I have 18" rims with 35 series tires.

Dear Mr. Mustang,

I added a classic chin spoiler and did not lower the front end...

I am also running 255/45/18" tires...

I have 5-6" clearance now and I have already scraped the bottom of the spoiler once on a steep driveway...

I love the look but must be very careful not the drive in certain places...

Dave

If you push the accelerator down and the car doesn't move, it's too low.

If you notice a HUGE trail of sparks coming from your car as you go down the highway at night - - - - it is too low.

If you have to use a periscope to drive, it is probably too low

I love it. A serious question posed to the likes of us.

(Un)fortunately, that is how things work around here.

If people are planting seeds behind you, it might be too low...
