Default 01GT vs Dodge 5.9 Rt

I got to race one of those 5.9 RT trucks yesterday. I thought they were faster but I guess I should have taken into effect that it is a truck. We raced from a 60mph roll and he just had nothing for me I was disappointed. Well, just thought I would post what happened.

Anyone know what they run in the 1320?

stock? on drag times, it seems that theyre all running 14.8s or so..

what body style was it?

i dont think they can do much stock, but there are alot of them out there that are built, running into the low 13s and ive seen a couple running into the 11s...several blower kits are available.

He would of put a better fight up from a stop but theyre still no match for our car. Aerodynamics are not a trucks friend.

true...ive run on the highway with a 13 second diesel truck in my 15/16 second car and walked away from him at higher speed due to the aerodynamics...

I have a 2002 R/T if anyone is interested in giving it a go in the Chicagoland area. Truck has a few minor mods, nothing big. I actually beat a 93-97 Z28,these trucks do get up and go
