last night i was heading down to philly to meet a few of my friends at this Irish Pub that we go to sometimes. anyways on my way to 476 to get to Philly i was stopped at a red light. I hear a loud exhaust approaching me. I knew it was a damn ricer without having to look. In the lane next to me stops a Honda CRX. This guys name is Jon I've seen him around town plenty of times, (He's challanged me once before he came up behind me and flashed his lights but i turned off on a small street didnt feel like racing. this was when i just got Amber so I wasnt as confident driving stick a driver with it as I am now) i've seen him especially around Movie Theater parking lots trying to show off. anyways he revs his engine like crazy while looking at me. I do my whatever shoulder shrug / head nod and rev my motor a lil bit. the light goes green and we take off. Im still in basicly bold tires so i was being conservative with the accelerator trying not to spin out and loose traction. I shifted into 2nd right at 4500RPMs the fender of the crx was at the window in mid 2nd gear. I throw it in third and the crx it dropping back. When suddently the CRX dissapears completely which was accompanied by a sickening round of the engine cranking. The idiot shifted back into first when trying to go to third. I felt kinda bad that he basicly ****ed up his engine but I was laughing about it all the way from I-476 - I-95 about that. anyways just wanted to share my story.
lighten up on him...a race is a race......crx's and a lot of honda's can be made into sleepers that run low-mid 13's if not faster, which will take damn near any stock Mustang GT.......sorry, but its true. congrats on the win.
