51K miles, 5 speed manual, $14995...is that a good price for a 1999 cobra? also did those year cobras have any factory recalls or problems. Thanks
ha yeah dude, that was the worst year to buy a cobra. they all had recalls, because they were supposed to have 320hp, but came out with i dont know how much less, but it was substantial. all cobras were brought back into the dealers, and were fixed to make 320hp. all original owners were given nice SVT leather jackets. im sure there are a few cobras running around that havent been fixed yet, but if it hasnt, its a free fix.

s**t they gave away free jackets lol thats pretty kool a free fix and an SVT jacket. well i found another for like 17 or 18K but this one had the recalls done. the guys says he had the intake and exhaust recall done. so what did they do change the exhaust and intake so they can make the released 320hp to the flywheel? well if i decide to get it i'll drop by a ford dealer n check it out i hope it has no recall done i wanna get that jacket if anything lol.

is there any way to know if the car has had the recall done to it. like what if i go to the dealership and they say it has had it like are there certain things i should look at that will show that it has been changed. i mean maybe even the guy that is selling it hasn't had it done but maybe he says it does have t i just wanna make sure you know.

cause i rather build it up with the parts that i see fit, rather than a car thats already been modified. i mean i rather buy my own parts and stuff and make it my own rather than have parts other people bought you know. it may sound wierd but thats the way i see it.
