One thing the article didn't mention is that the cost of replacement parts for an American car will go up dramatically if they are japanese or european.  That's a big plus in buying an American car is that if you plan on keeping it a long time you pay less than half the cost for parts and they are typically easier to work on.  If the big 3 start using mostly import components you can expect to pay a lot more down the road.

acuras have alot of clas n20 junkie.  dont be a jerk.  just because a car is made somewhere else doesnt mean it sucks.  dont be so ignorant.  if all this stuff happens you will be able to buy higer class better vehicles.  be happy.
