im pretty sure to add an extra amp to the mach 460 you would have to completly start over with the stareo. By that i mean take out all of the stock equipment and put in all new stuff, i could be wrong but i hope someone else can chime in and help

it can be done but why use a 4 channel amp for subs? all you need is an amp with line level inputs or buy a piece from the audio store that allows you to use the rear speaker wires to connect to. but seriously a mono amp is all that is needed--sub bass is mono and should not really be played in stereo especially if its a common chamber sub enclosure.

Did it ever occur to you to maybe be a little more informative in your initial post and maybe then you'll get more worthwhile advice to what you're asking for?

If you're going to use a 2 or 4 channel amp to run subs, find out if it's possible to bridge two of the channels to make make a mono output. In your case, 2 Stereo outputs and one Mono output for the subs.

you should be able to switch it to 2 channel, then you can bridge it. plug one rca into the first channel and the other into the 3rd.

Haha sorry for that little outbreak i have a problem with that sumtimes

i can bridge it to a mono output and 2 channels but is there any way i can use the full power of my amp cuz my amp puts out 800 x 2 at 4ohm bridged max and my subs are 4 ohm 1000max 500rms .... with a 1 mono out put for both and two unused channels that wouldn't be powering the subs much would it? sorry again

One more thing my amp says in bridged it can handle 4~8 ohms does that mean it can handle all the way up to 8 ohms?

If you bridge those subs you will have 2 ohm load. It might overheat the amp and it will cutout. The ohm rating is usually meant for the lowside, any amp can run a higher impedence (8 ohm), most good sub amps can handle lower than 1 ohm.
