Default Engine sound, strange

Weird sound coming from the engine when I floor it. (I have an automatic) It sounds like air is being released somewhere under the hood.. it lasts for the entire time while I'm flooring then once I take my foot a little off, it goes away. What could this be?

and what's the limiter on a v-6? I got like 105

my governor limits at 115mph. Heard others can get it to 125-130.

Stock, they're all goverened at 115 because of the tire's speed rating. Others get higher once the speed limiter is removed through a computer reflasher like the SCT X-cal or X-cal 2.

Dunno what could be making that sound! I think I'd take it to the dealer and have them go for a ride along.
