Hi, I just bought a 40th anniversary mustang GT and I would like to know what is the best anti theft device out there in your opinion. I doubt there is anything out there that will stop a thief that knows what he is doing. But it may make others think twice about braking in and look somewhere else.

Thanks

brake lock, the club, and viper (or other alarm) all together.  more the better...i saw this thing on tv...a thief said that he could deal with any of the above, but the brake lock is by far the best deterrent, and the more things the longer it takes.  they wont mess with it if it's gonna take 5 minutes to get all that crap off.

ohh ya...the big kahuna is getting the vin etched into the windshield.  it'll cost them like a hundred or two to replace and makes it not worth it to them supposedly.

Removable coil fuse. Don't know if that would work in the modern EFI cars, but it's a great idea for the older stuff. No spark means no start, period.
