SLPs are straight pipes with resonators. You will lose torque because of the lost backpressure.

This statement pisses me off liek no other, if it were true they would NOT SELL CATLESS X/H PIPES. IF A F'ING MUFFLER CAN MAKE YOU LOSE HP BECAUSE ITS STRAIGHT THROUGH THEN WHY WOULDN'T AN OFFROAD X/H PIPE MAKE YOU LOSE EVEN MORE HP WITH A MUFFLER SYSTEM LIKE MAGNAFLOW/SLP <IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0">

btw, As far as quality, that system is pretty darn nice. The stainless tubing bends are second to none. Very high quality work. If you like that sound and want to go the extra $$ for stainless, that system should be considered. Problem is, if you DON'T like that sound, you can't swap out for another pair of mufflers. They are welded in place.
