My friend has an 02 Acura RSX with Custon Intake, Exhaust, and a few wiring done. Since I got my car, both of us wanted to race each other. But he went to school to take summer classes so I didnt get a chance to see him that much. But this weekend before he went back to school for the fall we were all hangin out and decided to race finally. We were on his street. Which is no outlet and like 1/2 mile long. We went from a stop. My tires are bolding so on laungh i spun out some and he goes a quick jump but after a good chirp on 2nd gear i got him and gained a lead. Once I got at 4000RPMs on 3rd i had a pretty good lead on him so i slowed down. It was a fun race. If i had new tires I think i would have had him from the start.

Now I am wondering how i would fare up against a stock RSX Type-S. I need to find someone around here that has that.

If he can drive, you'll probably loose. Its a 15 sec car, when driven well. Do it anyway though.

Rsx type s run a 14.8 so it would likely beat you but, what do you have done to your car?

RSX-S's are great cars, with great 6 speeds and a nice 2.0 200 hp engine. the 05s have 210, they may have hit 14.8s in the magazines, but they won't on the streets.

The base RSX is gonna be a good snack for a 99+ V6.
