Any ideas on why my mach 460 in my 00 v6 will play cd's and everything fine, but when it comes to ejecting the cd, the damn thing won't come out!? Sometimes if I keep hitting "play/stop" then trying to eject it again, it'll come out, but a lot of times it gets stuck and takes forever to get out.

My boyfriend is pretty stereo savvy so he could probably fix it if it were something simple.

Thanks in advance for ideas.

Mine stopped playing CDs completely i think because it just fried. Black leather and a billet trim on the CD player just sucked heat into it so it cooked.

Is it a copied disc with a label applied to it? The label can cause it to get stuck.

Don't feel bad, same thing happens in mine. When it does that I just punch it like a drunk Hillbilly pops his wife. Spits right out. It's done it less and less over time. Damn dealer couldn't get the problem to reproduce when I used to take it in for the problem after I bought it.

Nope. It's a regular ole cd. No matter what cd I put in there, it keeps it in, but for some reason it really likes this Breaking Benjamin cd and won't give it back! lol. Atleast it's a good cd.

Sometimes if I blow some air in there, it seems to help. I need to get one of those computer aircan things that you use for dust. It might help a little anyways.

What comes stock in the GT, maybe I could find one from a GT someplace and have my boyfriend swap it out?
