On a 2005+ Mustang, you need to have an upgraded relay on the wiring harness or the lights will flicker for a bit and not stay on. If you went with our kit, the upgraded relay is included. Generally, when people have problems with the lights not working, its either installation error or a bad part. HIDS in general have been installed on thousands of Mustangs so you are definitely not heading into unchartered waters. If you need help, just let me know. Did you get your kit on Ebay?

G’day mate, Thanks for the reply, I did not get the lights from E-bay, and in talking to the manufacturer they are supposed to come with a relay, if this does not fix the issue with the passenger lights, is the relay some thing I can get from a auto parts store or is there a particular on I need? Also is there a chance with this kit that ford may try to refuse any warranty work on the car if they see the lights? Or do you recommend removing them when car goes in for some work

Thanks Again…
Did you get a wiring harness with your kit? If so, all you need to do is upgrade the relay on the harness. I can give you the upgraded relay. Email me: sales@stangmods.com and I'll email you back the installation instructions for the 05+ Mustangs. I'll get them working for you.
I installed the lights I must say this is not some thing I would have tried if I knw the issues I would have,
Contact the company where you got them from and see what they say. I've gotten quite a few people who have bought HIDs from places OTHER than StangMods and they've had issues. The 05+ Mustang is not plug and play like most companies advertise.
Did you ever get a chance to send us an email with the pictures of your kit? If you can send me a picture of what the wiring harness looks like then I can try and figure it out. Either way, the company you got them from should be able to provide you with pictures you can send me.
Thanks, I did get these goeing, finaly, I had to run form the High Beam, as no matter what I did to low beam I could not get it to work, I added a Relay and it woudl toun the relay on and off making it flicker...I had lights wored directly to battery and same problem, I would how ever really like to have these work from the low beam, so as to be able to make use of the high beam...as I bought the Bi-Xenon kit...
Though for the most pasrt there is no need as the low beam is great..
Alrighty, this deal still available? I'm thinking of the BiXenons so i can keep the high beams. I have an 01 with fog lights. I'm torn between the 6000k or the 4300ks. I want whatever looks closet to my IS300's headlamps. I actually think i got my exhaust forever ago from you guys as well! Where abouts in MD? I work in BMore and work in Annapolis (Crofton, 1 minute from ELD). Thanks!

Hey I've just read over this forum and I've got a 95 Mustang. I've been looking for the HID look for quite awhile now. I've already been through 2 sets that "claimed" they were HID but they were just halogen and barely light up the road. I'd love to get a set of your 8000K Bi-Xenon Headlights, but I was wondering something, I read earlier that the regular HID's did something when you fired them up and you said you would post a video of it but I never saw it. I was wondering if the Bi-Xenon's did the same thing. Also, I think my current headlamps aren't giving me great lighting on the road, I think because they're cheap aftermarket lamps. But I saw the Cobra style headlamps on your site and was wondering if you'd ever seen what kind of light output they give (hopefully something more like stock coverage). I've really had trouble finding a good headlamp/HID headlight combo. So I was hoping you could solve those problems. I also have 893 foglights and I wasn't sure if you carried HID's for those too. I was wondering if you could give me any kind of deal on either the headlamps/HID bulbs or even all three things. Thanks a bunch! Hope to do business with you!
what about making the foglights the same. do they need ballast's?
A true HID system comes with specific HID bulbs, ballasts, and wiring harnesses. The installation is fairly straightforward. The most difficult part of the job that most people complain of is the mounting of the ballasts. We include zipties, double sided tape, and mounting brackets to help ease the installation.
