87 Lx with cobra motor
Hey everyone I'm new to this board. I just purchased a 87 LX with T-Tops. It originaly was a texas 4cly car but it now has a 93 cobra 5.0 in it.

the chances of it being a real 93 cobra motor are pretty slim, more than likely it just has the intake on it

it should have gt40 iron heads, 24# injectors, 1.7 rockers, stamped valve covers[this is a key]cobra intake, and a less aggressive cam then the HO

yep cobra has a less aggressive cam. it gets its lift from the 1.7s

it's probably not a real 93 cobra motor but it could be a gt-40 crate motor with a cobra intake.

The tops of the injectors are tan.

and ill bet the valve covers are aluminum. cobras are stamped steel ones that are black
