Default 2000 V6 Stick No Back-up Lights

We have a 2000 3.8 with a 5 speed. The back-up lights stopped working, bulbs tested good. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be.

Thanks

Could be the back-up light (?) switch on the tranny...I forget the technical name on the Manual Tranny. It basically tells the lights to turn on when you put it in reverese. It's usually located on the tail of the tranny with a couple of wires going to it. Test it.

I'm going to move this to the general tech section. But in the meantime. There is a plug, usually toward the back of the trans for reverse lights. Look under there and see if has come apart.
