I have a single Magnaflow muffler on mine and it sounds alot better but I have heard duals on a V6 and if it is done right is sounds great.

West Coast has the JBA dual system on special. I have them on my car and they sould awesome. You have to cut your pipe just before the y as they are true duals. But it comes with complete instructions on where to do it.

It is nice!

You're quite the spammer. How much is West Coast paying you?

there are even catback dual kits that do not require cuting pipes..... even magnflow has a kit that does not require bumper being cut. I am either going with the magnflow dual catback or the JBA dual catback

bztz4m if that single magnaflow sounds good I bet the dual one even better... would u recommend them? It is hard to make a decision on this subject without hearing in person the sound.....

I have done alot of research on all these cat back systems and for the money i decided to have a muffler shop do the work. I had the pipes cut off just after the cats and welded an H pipe in with all new pipe all the way back with flowmaster 40 series mufflers installed with the bumper being notched only cost me $453.00 with tax. Now that's in michigan but before you lay on your back for a couple of hours call around and check price's.

I best thing to do is find a dealer that has a V6 with duals on it so you can hear the new system. I like the single system for now until I can afford the dual.

No more than T2 pays you I guess. Should I not pass on good info when I see it? Thought that was what forums were all about?

Ya, there are dual systems out there that you don't have to cut your pipes. I had JBA's Y pipe dual exhaust on my car before I switched it over to the H pipe system that you have to cut to install. The Y pipe is a direct bolt on kit...no cutting needed. However, you get mainly sound and looks and not much in the way of performance. The reason for this is that before it gets to the dual system it the factory pipe chokes it down to a single exhaust. Taking the back part of the single exhaust off and replacing it without opening up the complete restriction does not do much for performance. It does look good and sound good, no question about that. So if you are looking for a simple easy way to get the sound and look and don't want to cut your pipes, that is the way to go. If you are worried about messing up your exhaust, you could always have them professionally done with Flowmasters or something like that. My friend put flowmasters on his GT and it sounds really good.

So there is my 2 cents for what it is worth.
