Hey everyone, this is my first post here so please take it EZ!  hehe.  I'm looking to buy a used black '99 Mustang GT that is modified.  Here's what this guy has done:  a Mac exhaust, 3.73 gears, D&D lower and upper central arms, and a subframe connection.  the car has about 59K miles and he's asking for 10,000 negotiable.

Would you guys consider buying this Mustang, should I just be looking for stock Mustangs to be on the safe side?  If you guys have time can you explain the 3.73 gears, lower and upper central arms and subframe connection?  Is a Mac exhaust a good performance and sounding exhaust?

Thanks in advance!!

I'll definitely try to negotiate, it's pretty obvious this guy has raced his car quite often so hopefully he'll budge.

Are the upper/lower central arms and subframe connection supposed to make your car better at taking corners or is it for drag?  sorry for all the noobie questions!

subframes will make the car more rigid and strong...kinda like it having a full frame.

im guessing control arms are suspension and for cornering, but i honestly dont know what they do

If your going to negotiate then it should be like $9500 My dad bought a 2002 GT white Mustang stock with 45K miles for 19k (f**king autolines cant lower the price ERRRR lol) Then again that car has some mods and 59k miles on it isnt bad and black on the mustang thats sick so id definatly try to negotiate but i dunno if you cant get it lowered though but good luck man hope you get it

thanks for the input fellas.  I think I'm going to pass on this modified one because a better deal has come: '00 performance red GT with black leather for 11K.  stock, but has chrome rims.... (sorry for those with chrome, but could never understand how you guys can like that stuff).

02 with 10K miles for 16K? what a steal.  why the mach 1?  why not just wait for the '05?  the interior makes me drool...
