V8 FOCUS
I herd in 2006 the ford focus will have an optinal 300hp 4.6 pony engine, i herd ford is doing this to compete with the sti and the evos is this true?

They'd never in the U.S.
But there is a Focus RS overseas with rwd and a v8 I do believe.
May even be AWD?

You can swap a 4.6 03 cobra engine into a Focus. It's been done, and I believe certain companies make kits to convert it.

There a conversion for RWD too?
No sense in all that torque in a fwd car.

yeah, that's part of the conversion. I believe it's an 03 rear end with a custom drive shaft. There's a lot of work done to the underbody and firewall to fit the engine/drivetrain into the car.

I'd say so, would've been odd as **** seeing an 03/04 cobra engine cocked sideways in the enginebay
