No way guys, I've been in car audio for 4 years, I can personally tell you that all wiring is not created equal. Saying all 4ga is the same is like saying al V8's are the same. You've got electronic sheilding, you've got wire flex, ie Monster cable maintains a perfect 75 ohms throughout the entire cable, creating the best sound reproduction possible. Sure maybe you never could tell the difference in wiring. You've been around 16 years in car audio. Times change dude, Cerwin and Rockford you look at them 5-10 years ago they were on top of their game, they are both obsolete now. Same with all the wiring you dealt with back then too. If you want good quality all around wiring kit, go Stinger. Most strands per ga. size. No offense to the guy with the Rockford wiring, But I used to work at Best Buy right and got all my Rockford wiring dirt cheap. great deal huh, no I went to where I work now and paid retail for Monster and I would never go back to Rockford. Sure it works fine, with Pioneer, Sony, Rockford, Kenwood product if you can definatly use Rockford wiring and be happy with the quality it delivers. You system is only as good as your weakest link. Look would you drive a ferrari and put oil in it from Dollar General, no way. Your system is only as good as your weakest link...
