Default good product for swirl marks?

I knew what i was getting into when i decided on black for my GT, but is worth it to me. Anyway, in the right angle of light, after a good wash in particular, i can see faint swirl marks on the finish in a few spots. I always hand wash, and dried with very soft cloths. you can't really see them without looking really hard, but it just bugs me to know they are there. Any suggestions on a good product for removing/consealing them, or am i fighting a winless battle with a black finish? thanks all...

This is why I stay away from black vehicles

The best thing for removing swirls is a medium polish. Depending on how severe the swirls are you might want a more professional product.

Just for everyday use, though, I would suggest Meguiars, but only because I'm familiar with their products. They actually have a specific polish for removing swirls, called, creatively enough, Meguiar's Swirl Remover.

3M products. They have a rubbing compound, a swirl remover, and a wax. Use them in order of importance obviously. They have a light/dark car swirl remover, and then the rubbing compound for when things are ugly.

You could not go wrong with getting the dark car first, because if I remember right it'll be the least amount of grit to sand out the swirl, then light should be a bit more because on a lighter car you'll need a bit more to hide the most obvious, and then the rubbing for the oh my god what happened stuff.

I also believe (can't see into my garage from ehre) they have another one you put on between wax/swirl remover that can 'fill in' some of the swirls before you wax it.

Just my experience. I did this on my TT, haven't needed to do it on the three week old mustang yet

I did my suv this weekend with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover and a orange light cutting pad, its dark blue and it need just a little help.
The results were fantastic, real please. Was my first time using that product so I was a little nervous but it came out great. Will try to post pics, I took before's but it started to rain when I finished so I dont have any afters yet.
