Hey blue vette guy I know where you are coming from. You have a really nice really fast car. You spent a lot of money on it good for you. Here is where we all are coming from. I drive a mustang thats worth (in dollars) maybe a 6th of your C6, does my car perform only a 6th as well as the vette? NO! You know automatic cars are usually more expensive than manuals and that doesnt mean an auto is better just more expensive.
You know we laugh at hondas for racing us because driving mustangs is what brings us here and we almost all have had a kid in a honda mouth off and then get spanked. As far as vette guys laughing at mustang guys... go do it on the vette forum. We don't care, when I beat a C5 in my (slow) 220 hp '94 GT 'vert at two lights in a row it wasn't because I have great car, its because I'm an okay driver and raced a guy with way more money than sense.

You guys and your price argument, it amuses me. Stock Ford GT cost $150k, if you can find one w/o a huge dealership markup. Foxbody w/o a drivetrain will cost about $500. Put $15k into it and see what you get. But at the end of the day, you're still driving a foxbody, while the guy you just outran is driving a Ford GT....does any of this even make sense to some of you?
Randy Marion, here in Mooresville, is offering an $8500 rebate on new C6's. That means you can get one for $44k out the door....that's one hell of a performance for your dollar.

Dude, don't get me wrong, I love c6's they are great cars, and to be honest I would trade my mustang up for one *but would take a cobra over a c6 just as fast*. i dont know if anybody else is following you, but i am, and i will tell you that if this vette guy came in here and started bashing the T/A's you would not be trying to defend him. i have a car that cost 24k, put about 1k in it and i am whipping that POS vettes ass!!! and at the end of the day, im still driving a four seater car that looks just as good, and has all the options that vette has. i love the vettes, wouldnt mind having one sit in my driveway, while the cobra is protected in the garage, but if this guy thinks that my cobra is inferior to his $50K car, he has way more money then sense. im all about a good kill story, even if its a vette taking down the cobra, so post away on the kills, but just remember where you are, and if i ever pull up on you, i wouldnt waste my time on your pile of junk. but only you bought a piece of junk vette. i like everybody else's.

i think my car looks just as good as the vette. your right, my car doesnt have all the goodies, i dont think it has a DIC, but i know she's got some balls!!! i hope you feel that you got your moneys worth, that's all that matters. hopefully you didnt get it b/c you think that it will beat cobras. a lot of chevy guys are mad b/c ford put out a mustang that is IN DIRECT COMPARRISON to your mighty vette, and cost almost half the price.

you clearly dont know anything about cars, first, you couldnt tell what year the cobra was, now you think that cobras 'litter' the streets? next time you are out in your nice shiney expensive, overpriced vette, count how many vettes you see, or im sure you wave at, and then count how many cobras you see. damn near everytime i go out, i see an old guy in a vette, cuz he doesnt know any better. This is very true also. Out of over 10,000 active members on this board, I think only four or five of us own Cobras. LOL
OOHH yeah, thats with a stock midpipe, stock exhaust manifolds, stock engine (upgraded blower), stock tranny, & stock clutch. Once I get the equal mid lengths and X pipe on then I will easily make 675. Then the Methanol will put me at or about 750. Come back when you know what a Cobra will do to you.
