Cobra tries to race me

On a very busy street a white Cobra pulls up next to my C6 vette (we are both doing about 40 or so) he downshifts and starts reving his engine and such. I look over and start laughing at him then he floors it and almost crashes into a highway entrence ramp baracade. What is with Mustang driver's trying to street race all the time? Take it to the track if you want to race and stop trying to race cars that you will get smoked by.

Cobras are definitely not a pushover.........an 03 runs a 12.8 stock. Last time I checked the C6 runs a 12.7 at fastest. Cobras can also become much faster for little money.

he didnt even state what year cobra. and in his last sentence he said " to stop trying to race cars that they will get smoked by" leads me to believe he was talking about 01 or b4.

There is no way a stock Cobra could beat a stock C6. It's called mass to horsepower. I don't know what year the Cobra was.

If it was a stock 03 or 04 vs a stock C6, it could possibly beat it. It depends on how good each of the drivers was.

Thanks, I was considering getting the Victory red but I wanted something a little different. The blue is nice but it shows alot of dirt. It really looks good at night since the headlights give off a blue tint.
