Id say Either the cobra or an STI, for the simple fact that not many street races go above 80 or so, and off the line, a 4wd is a bitch to handle, much less a turboed one.

Its kinda hard to say. what kind of street racing are you talking about. auto x would be the rx7...1/4 mile would be either the mustang, vette or camaro and highway would be the supra..

I'm gonna have to agree with jeep on this one.
I bet by the itme page three hits this is going to be turned into another "your car is crap because it's from Japan" arguement simply because someone doesn't think Mustangs are the king of the road.

If your talking straight line racing it would be the 68 hemi dart, if your talking twisties it wold have to be a porshe. Of course both cars are over $100,000

i think the mustang is the best street racing car. not becuace im a import hator or anything. because i put those cars their because they rank in my top 10 fav.
1.Its fast and can take shat loads of power
2.Looks good
3.Big Body strong enough to protect you better than alot of cars
4.Can take your family w/ you and has enough tq to race w/ you and your friends in the car
