My first race ever in the BOOSTANG!!! (00 Turbo GT)
Had some bugs to work out of it after putting the new motor, tranny, clutch, etc in, but she's running good and strong now!
Car's at 6psi right now, we threw the spring in the other night and just got it tuned to that.
First race was from a stop, I heated the **** out of my tires and bogged decently off the launch, but the GTO spun off the launch pretty good because his tires are bald, I pulled about 5 cars in 1st I think and then slowly pulled from there.
Ran 3 times from a roll...
All three I was shifting real slow, but so was the GTO! :lol: still pulled off the win each time, you can just watch the video when I get it done in a bit.
BTW, I'm kinda scared after blowing a motor to shift hard, so don't laugh too much at my ****ty shifting skills!
Parish's race was against a badass mustang that's been hyped up, but we didn't get to see it's full strength tonight, it had some issues as you'll see!

And I did blow my stock motor
I didnt miss anything....6 pounds is a good amount of boost!I not knockin ya man,I just thought the car should be faster for 6 pounds of boost from a turbo which doesnt rob any power from the motor

for 99saleen351r...first of all, origional name [:'(], second of all, 6lbs of boost is nothing for a turbo. just because it doesnt "rob" hp like a supercharger doesnt mean that the boost should be as low as one. turbos can make more horsepower and are deff more effiecient at doing so, and they can also be turned up higher than the s/c. since it doenst run off the crank, its a little easier on the motor. so know wut ur talkin about b4 u get on some1 for only beating a 32k dollar car with a 350ci chevy motor by a few cars. and for that matter he beat the gto by like 10 cars anyway, so open ur eyes...
