I want to buy a new Cobra. I see that there are '03's still available. Are there any differences between the '03 and the '04? Are there any upgrades, or improvements, or is it just a carry over. Thanks in advance for the help.

You posted it twice did you. you know my thoughts, although the 03 will be a couple cheaper and that could save some mod money??

I think i already posted to this same question. But the rims are the only difference. The 04 rims look way better.

i thought the rims were the same? i saw a mystic and it had the same wheels, just polished.

Yea they still ahve the 03 rims. But alot of them have the newer wheels . I'm gonna try to find a pic.

i see no difference in the 03 and 04 except the rims other than that they r basically the same

I have over 1000 miles on my '04 and I have no problems with it at all!! No engine tick, no thuds in the rear end, no vibration from drive shaft. I love the car. The chrome wheels are sweet too. I heard that different clutches were put in the '04 and that the drive shafts are different. The new engine code is: AMZ1 for your information which is different than the '03. I also heard the H pipe is different and that bigger cats were installed on the '04. There is no gas guzzler tax on '04 models but the MSRP went up $1000. You can also get dark "charcoal" seat inserts versus the "graphite" inserts. That is all I know.

actually the 04s get slightly better gas mileage than the 03s did. The 03s ran really rich, and Ford evened the 04s out.
