View Full Version : ’03 vs ’04 Cobra 04Cobra 12-31-2003, 10:12 AM I want to buy a new Cobra. I see that there are '03's still available. Are there any differences between the '03 and the '04? Are there any upgrades, or improvements, or is it just a carry over. Thanks in advance for the help. No engine tick, no thuds in the rear end, no vibration from drive shaft. I love the car. The chrome wheels are sweet too. I heard that different clutches were put in the '04 and that the drive shafts are different. The new engine code is: AMZ1 for your information which is different than the '03. I also heardthe H pipe is differentand that bigger cats were installed on the '04.There is no gas guzzler tax on '04 models but the MSRP went up $1000. You can also get dark"charcoal" seat inserts versus the "graphite" inserts.
