I dont like it. There is definately something wrong between the two cars. Looks like we got our hopes up with this winner

the foglights are just differant and the headlights are ON in the "concept"

alls i think it needs is a differant style hood

its too flat and such atleast the 99-04's had that fake hoodscoop

thats all this car needs for exterior appearance i think, and im sure some body kits would fix that nice n good

It went from jaw dropping to uninspirational.  I think a lot of the things that made the concept were left in concept.  However, some tint, lowering, wheels and different body color should bring it back to life.

It is a "CONCEPT".  The CONCEPT didn't have a back seat.  I don't know about the rest of you be look at the massive blind spot from the CONCEPT's c-pillars.  Its big enough to hide a Miata.  Here in DC, switching lanes is a difference between being on time for work or 5 minutes late, I need to see what the hell is next to me.

The fake side scoop on the outgoing model made its way to the CONCEPT but thank god it didn't make it to production.  Its a modern classic and not taking the CONCEPT literally, Ford did a great job transitioning from the CONCEPT to a functional, non fake scoops production car.

I love it.  Its very American and very modern.

I GUESS IM BEING A LITTLE HARD ON THE WHOLE PRODUCTION THING. BUT THEY GAVE US A TASTE OF SOMETHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GREAT. I MEAN I CANT TAKE IT AWAY FROM THEM, ITS A BAD A$$ LOOKING CAR. LIKE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING, BODY KIT, RIMS AND MOST OF ALL MORE MODS TO THE ENGINE, THE CAR WOULD BE AWESOME. HEY IF THEY MADE THE CONCEPT, THE PRODUCTION, WITH 390 HORSE AND A SICK LOOKING STYLE, WHAT ELSE COULD WE SPEND OUR MONEY ON? THEY GAVE US A HALF PAINTED CANVAS, LETS MAKE THE BEST OF IT AND SHOW THEM WHAT WE CAN DO WITH IT.

I had my hopes up too,

Its just another Low-tech boxy looking entry level performance car, its future sales figures will prove its ugly, just wait and see.

F*** Ford...sorry guys, but its the truth.

The concept car was sooo Rad, then the add this stupid rear "opera" looking window. the body curves look like those from  lowly Eclipse..its just not the car I was waiting for...I will go elsewhere..for certain.

I think the production version looks even better than the concept. I think Ford is going to have alot of trouble making enough of these to satisfy demand.
