some of us unluckly mustang fans are cursed with the lack of dollars to afford a GT, but still feel the need for speed. How can i make my 3.8L faster???????????????

exhaust, cold air intake... about all i know for v-6's

well not to be a smart as but what is it a 90 model v'6? that is why you can get a 89 to 93 lx or gt for 5000 or under i have a 89 lx 5.0 and paid under 3500.well you could drop a v8 in your 6 or sell and get an older model which i think the older models look a lil more sportier.

no, i never said it couldnt be done, but it's not just as easy as pulling out the six and dropping it in. he wants to make the V6 faster, not do a swap.

im just saying there is no point to trick out a 6 do you think? i mean you are gonna spend more money getting a 6 in to the 13's than just getting gears and exhaust with a v8 and running 13's

Gotp a junk yard and get a V8 for 500. You can get a 5.4 sohc out of a totaled van or pickup.

damn guys, he didn't say anything of swap. bore it out, sroke it out, reduce heads port and polish. on the internet oyu can get 500 bucks heads that will let oyu rev 2000 rpms more than stock. my i got my girlfriend those heads for 560 with ship and they are ready to install with valves and everything. and belive there was a big change of power
