A friend got me a windshield banner for christmas but as I drove the car today I noticed that the windshield wipers go up into the area where the banner would go, has anyone had any problem with this or can anyone suggest a certain way to put it on so the wipers wont peel it off? thanks.

The vinyl banners won't peel off provided it was put on properly.  I've seen where air bubbles left in the decal have cause major trouble, but as long as you squeegee the banner and make sure it's not slipping or sliding all over the windshield you're safe.

Okay thank you. I figured it wouldn't peel off aslong as it was put on right.

Size is relative on how much windshield you want to be clear... That sounds really obvious but I know a guy who put a 12" banner on his Del Sol and you can't see anything out of his windshield.  Personally I like anything between 4" and 8" from the bottom of the banner to the top of the windshield.  You can still see a lot, and they're not so bad to put on either.

I have a banner on my windshield and the wipers hit it all the time with problems.  After I put mine on I let the car sit in a garage for a couple days just to be sure it sealed properly and it hasn't peeled off yet (knock on wood).

You can take hte wiper arms off the gears and move them down one notch.  You don't even notic the difference.  Plus it hides them alittle beeter so you don't see them.
