I was ridin on a 2 way road and saw the evo 8 in my mirror I've been wantin to race one of em for awhile now....so we both pull out on a 3 lane highway and we both hit it ....he couldnt pass my we got upto 90 shut down cuz of a light...we played cat and mouse (him being the cat haha) until we both hit a light...the fag wouldnt even look at me and b4 the light turns green he started so I hit the gas when it turned green and my nose was at his door we stayed like that until 110 and thats when I shut down cuz theres this spot were pigs always hide and I didnt wanna take the chance but he keeps on flyin...</P>


I'm surprized that he didnt do the famous AWD launch that those evos r known for...but I had my windows open a little just 2 hear his turbo goin off itsounded pretty sweet<IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">all in all pretty good race...o yea and one more thing that really pissed me off is that my traction control kicked on in 1st 2d and 3rd gear and I didnt even spin them out of the hole...once I threw it into 3rd the traction came on and slowed down my car to a insane amount it just wouldnt go anywhere ...I hate traction control<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"></P>

I always hear about those Evo's being quick. But I always see them losing to rather stock GTs all the time.

This is because you'll get a driver that doesn't know what the hell to do with his/her vehicle... an EVO will push very low 13s... a cobra will beat it... but a GT... sorry, but I've seen EVOs and their dynos... and I know 281s... stock for stock an EVO will crush a GT.</P>
