Hey Guys...

Did anyone hear encounter suspension problems on their saleens?

I own a S281 NA and after a while after i drive i hear some weird noises coming from the front right wheel, sounds like something is lose or something, when i drive the car up the garage entrance with the right front wheel only and i turn the wheel,it sounds like something is dry underneath and when it moves it makes noise.....very weird don't even know how to describe it exactly....

Any help is apreciated....

BTW.

Can i bring my Saleen to any ford dealer or do i need to bring it to a FORD SALEEN dealer?

Thanx,

Dean

for that problem any ford dealer should be able to help you out. it could be one of many componets in that area that is bad.  have it checked out asap.

hey, whats up man, I just wrote something about that same problem I have a 97 saleen with a clunk in the left wheel assembly when you brake hard, or turn and brake at the same time. Earlier today I torqed the motor in gear and I could hear it. It sounds like something flexing in the suspension but I cant pinpoint it. I replaced the strut mounts and sway bar end links but its still there. I was also curious if your suspension feels real loose when driving on rough roads.

Red, check your pivot bushings. That's what I think it is.

I take my saleen to the local ford dealership for all my maintainence issues, your dealership should be able to find and correct the problem
