Why in the hell are you guys all over his nuts? WTF? Either way, I guess I'll start going on Honda websites bashing Hondas etc. when I don't even belong there. Of course, that's right they would all stick together and more than likely ban me from the site. Seems to be they should call this Honda forums seeing as there are as many of them as Mustangs on here. I have to say this has to be the only website I've been on in my life that has this kind of mentality in it's members.

The last time I checked this is MUSTANG FORUMS, it's ok to talk about a Honda, but when one person disagrees with you, you start off dissing, Fords, Mustangs, and their owners, which I take personally. And yes, I feel as though you have no right to be here. You drive a Honda and you cause problems, it's not like I'm the first person that has lit into you.
There is plenty of other sites where, the main forum topic is the Ford Mustang and they have nowhere near the idiots and non-Mustang instigators this site has. If I wanted to talk to non-Mustang people then I wouldn't go to a Mustang site.

I simply posted a link and you started off with insulting a car company I enjoy learning about, YOU started insulting me, and then YOU started the rest of this nonsense which is why this thread is now three pages of you telling me you hate Hondas.
I have just as much right to be here as you do. The fact that you own the car this forum is for is simply irrelevant, I'm here to learn about the car. If you've actually paid attention to any of my posts within the tech sections, you would have noticed my asking LOT'S of questions about 4.6s and 5.0s. But all you seem to notice are what's in the Off topic, Rumors and Videos section. Some participant of this site you are.
I drive a Honda yes, but I'm not the one causing problems on this board. It's people like you who think they can sit here and talk trash like a teenager are the ones who are causing problems. So please, don't start rambling about truck engines since it's completely inane to the topic at hand.
And yes, I know the 2000 Cobra R came with the 5.4 making 385/385. With a limited run of 300 units, 270 in public circulation and 13 of them have been wrecked, there's MAYBE 257 of them out there. Do you really think that makes a whole lot of difference with hundreds of thousands of 281s on the road? Seriously.

Anyway, I don't care what torque production is on any engine. When you're dragging you spend maybe 5% of the time down in the torque band. After that it's all up to horsepower to keep you going. Like it or not, Honda already is a pretty good competitor to you and your badass Mustang thanks to an unbelievably large aftermarket support.

I'm done with you. You're not worth my time. The only reason you're loved so much and the mods have to stick up for you, is because you're a top poster. It would make the site look bad if the top poster was banned.

This is a statement of desire on the part of Honda, not even a statement of intent. So, that leaves some doubt as to whether or not this will ever come to pass. For 90% of the nation and 99% of us on this forum, this is something we'll never be able to afford, anyway! What, are you planning on trading your 2000Si in on one? That should leave you with payments of about $2,500 a month for 10 years, plus insurance.
The NSX is a nice car. But comparing it to what we drive? Uh, uh. The NSX is purpose built frame up to handle and go really fast. For the sticker, it had damned well better. For HALF that money, a trained monkey could buy a 2V Mustang and use the rest to buy mods. Then, with change still in his pocket, monkey boy stomps the p!ss out of the NSX in the 1/4.
Yeah, our Ford will never handle like the NSX, no matter what we do. But, we don't have to fill the tank with sake to have a good time, either.
This is the mustang forum, dude. If folks PM you with import questions, that's great. But you had to know that this would incite hard feelings, and yet you did it anyway. Congratulations.

Anyway, I posted this because it is interesting information... and whatever Honda engineers set their minds to they accomplish. I wouldn't blow things off quite so easily. But thanks for the semi intelligent conversation.

I'll give you that. The last import I lost to was a E46 M3 about 5-6 months ago, since then the only things I've raced were a couple C5 Vettes with some wins and losses.

The NSX isn't a 1/4 mile car. It's a track car, and will compete with the Corvette and Viper in all aspects. I love it when people think every car is built solely to get down the 1320 fast.
I guess buying an SRT10 for 80k isn't a rip off... I don't see why though, it's only a second quicker in the quarter and will turn the same lap times if not worse with it's wonderful 1500 lb engine weighing the nose down.

Lastly, all opinions matter. But they matter more if you're going to have something worthwhile to say. It seems all you want to do is talk about teabagging and all this high school nonsense.

Dumb noob, why are you here? Most Excursions are V10's. The 5.4 V8 came in some but not many. And the other V8 being either the 7.3 or 6.0 turbo-diesel is usually a $4-5k option so most don't have that as well.
After previously working at a Ford dealership, about 65% of Excursions are V10 equipped the others are V8 or Diesel.
