Thanks for the input guys... I built the car starting in 1992 and have been on the road since '94 with it... Ten years later, it's time for some updates and upgrades. It is currently over at Texas Chasis Works in Tyler, TX for some shock tower reinforcements (I saw some of these bars on a road race car this past summer... very cool stuff... and functional too..) any way, going with new 17" wheels and tires from a late gen SVT Cobra, lowering the entire car by about two inches or so, and then the 'charger for the 5.0L EFI... should add about 125 horse power at only 6 psi... the KB blowzilla kit is good for about 14 psi with the right combo.. but again, my goal is not maximum perfromance, but more power never hurts anything... next winter, I'm planning to upgrade the engine to a 5.8/351" Windsor as originally came in the car.. only mine will utilize the Ford EFI and the KB blower...
Anyone have any good sources on the wheels for me? I've checked out a few source on line... seems there are plenty of price differential between the various vendors...

Yea, I know the are many less expensive alternatives to the KB deal... but I'm lookin' for some additional WOW! factor when I open the hood at the car shows/meets that I attend... right now, as is, I get alot of "A 5.0L? Is that all ya' got in there? What they don't realize is that my car probalby is quicker, faster, and get better fuel milage now, than it ever could have imagined when new... but also keep in mind the mentality of many of these Shelby fanatics... if it's not 100% original, they crap on themselves... My car is a far from original as I could make it... and if I've missed something, I'll change that too... (Ooops, kinda got off the subject there...)
Anyway, the KB kit replaces the entire upper FI plenum, looks great, appears to be better engineered than many of the other kits and doesn't require an innercooler at low boost levels. It is quite expensive at 3400.00, but that's what I'm leaning towards... unless someone can convince me otherwise...
Has anyone had a bad expeprience with KB? Talk to me...
Dan02GT took my question. the KB is going to give you a little more than "alittle", and will take a little more than alot of money. whatever HP that is left over that you don't want, pass it this way....

If he's got the money, go with a KB, and if you're definately looking for the roots type, KB is second to none. For good prices on wheels go to tirerack.com, but there are tons of sites for wheels. It's best to search a vintage site that has updated wheels, because people know what they're talking about.

These will no doubt be awful pics, but it'll give y'all an idea of what I'm working with... again, please forgive the crappy pics... but it's all I could manage to scrape up this morning... remember, the car is in Tyler, I'm in Irving, TX and it's Christmas eve day...

Yea, it's the pics... basically pictures of pictures that I took this morning just so y'all could see what this rig looks like...
That second picture was out at Motorsports Ranch (a country club with a road race course rather than a golf course) near Ft. Worth... it had rained most of the day and the car was pretty dirty after some hot laps with about 20 other cars on the course at the same time... she cleans up pretty good though...
I'll get some good pics posted once my main computer is back up & running... 'til then, I'm kinda handicapped...

I'll try another... this pic was taken last summer at a cruise night over in Vernon Texas... note it's got the stripe kit in place now...it's actually a black stripe down the side, but the flash on the camera makes it look white do to the reflective properties of the tape stripe... strange huh?
I'm off to Christmas Eve services at church... see y'all later...
