i have a 2002 mustang GT 5 speed, i will soon be posting pictures of it, i already have the SLP cat back exhaust, i had a bbk x pipe on it for a little bit but took it off because without the cats it was too annoying loud. I also have a cold air intake with a 75 shot if nitrous. These are all the engine work i have done to it so far, but what i really want is speed. i have over $1000 to spend right now to make my car closer to what i want it to be. Any suggestions on wehat i shouls do?? What aboutone of thos hypertech computer tuners, has anyone ever used one?
Dude if the car is too loud w/ an X your driving the wrong car. You sound gay. I would tell you to get long tube headers cause those add some power. But im gonna tell you maybe you should get an awesome paint job so its not to loud for you. HOw about a carbon fiber hood. You cant hear that.

have you ever heard SLP Loudmouth 1s even with a catted midpipe? they're LOUD! casper had an o/r X with his loudmouth 1s and he wanted to take it off cause it would blow out his eardrums.
get the loudmouth 2 catback. you should probably get a chip/tune for that nitrous shot you're running.

Way to be an ass to the guy on his first post.
Start with gears!!! 4.10 or 4.30. If you want power, start by upgrading the nozzle on your nitrous. After that, get a tune. I suggest the SCT X-calibrator 2 or diablosport. After that you can do the usual bolt ons but don't disregard things like good tires or a set of heavy duty control arms (upper and lower). You can look at a plenum/Throttle body combo (C&L plenum w 75mm Accufab) if you still have money left over.

i've had LM1s & LM2s. the LM1s with my CATTED X was louder than the LM1s with the stock H.
andy98gt sounds like a jackass. A new guy comes on here asking a question, but states he doesn't want his car to loud. Nothing wrong with that. I like loud, but not to obnoxious myself, got to be able to hear the tunes. Anyhow, the first thing anybody says to the new guy is, hes gay. Way to welcome him in!

is this a daily driver? cams, gears, longtube headers, P&P heads, C&L intake plenum, better intake manifold, pullies. the is a lot of stuff you can do for under $1000, you just need the best bang for your buck
